Rest & Peace

Rest needs only the sunlight on the lake
If you see it
The breeze among the leaves
If you see it

Peace needs only the scattered conversation of birds
If you hear it
Only the lapping of wave on rocks
If you hear it

Only if you need the Rest will you watch for water-light and leaf-breeze
Only if you need the Peace will you dig out your ears for birdsong and wave lap
